We're Playing Santa to a Girls Shelter!

The gifting divas at Celebrity Chitt (http://www.celebritychitt.com) are playing Santa to a lot of little girls and our staff needs Elves to help out! Known for designing coveted celebrity gift bags, our team is seeking product donations for Vista Maria, a shelter for girls in Dearborn Heights, Mich. We will be creating celebrity-style holiday gift bags for the girls, ages 11-17 years old, who are abused (sexually, physically and mentally), runaways and foster children. We are accepting any quantity of products as we wish to make sure that each girl receives "something special" in her gift bag. There are 165 girls in the shelter. Please help us stuff as many bags as possible.

The types of products being sought are those that will make the girls feel beautiful, loved, hopeful, spiritual, peaceful and worthy. All products are being accepted. We are in need of the actual gift bags (can be paper gift bags or even Christmas stockings), apparel, jewelry, shoes, books, makeup, loungewear, purses/bags/backpacks/totes, slippers, journals (no wires), stationary, mp3 players, lip gloss (no glass tubes) hair and skin products, accessories, electronics, etc. NO FOOD. The only exception is razors. Razors MUST be electric. Any quantity product donation is appreciated, from a five-piece minimum to the entire 165 for all of the girls.

No coupons. Gift certificates are OK as long as there is no minimum purchase required, no shipping fee and they can be used in Michigan or online. The deadline is November 30 to have products in our office.

All participants will receive a copy of the press release showing their donations/participation.

Produced by Spike Lee, "You're Nobody 'til Somebody Kills You" is an action packed and gritty story of two New York City homicide detectives that are forced into the high-stakes world of the hip hop industry. A complex web of murder, sex, money and music unfolds as the homicide detectives track a serial killer with an appetite for some of hip hop's biggest stars. We are creating 50 celebrity/VIP gift bags for the premiere of this film on September 23rd.

Celebrity Gift Bags for New York Fashion Week

Celebrity Chitt is seeking gift bag partners for Celebrity Gift Bags for a New York Fashion Week dinner-themed show (September 2011). Confirmed celebrities include Angela Simmons, Tyson Beckford, Teyana Taylor, Diggy Simmons, Fonsworth Bentley, Dawn Richards, Omarion and dozens more!! Celebrity RSVPs are still coming in.

Media confirmed to attend includes MTV, NY Times, OK Magazine, US Weekly, Concrete Loop and several others. Additional outlets expected to attend. We intend to sponsor media giveaways featuring the gift bags, outlets TBA.

Brands are being considered to provide the official gift bags/luggage/totes AND products to fill the bags. All products being considered for the celebrity and media gift bags. NO paper products accepted, gift cards considered, especially for national locations.

Sponsors must be able to provide 65-70 bags/luggage or pieces of products in order to be involved. If less than 65-70 pieces, we will consider items based on the value of the product (ie travel accommodations, high-end apparel/footwear,etc.).
